Busiest

season on record, ahead of 2020

“This year has been even busier than the COVID year. We had to buy six more carts to keep up. Even saving 20 minutes a day is huge, and SmartLinks helps with that.”
Alan, owner, Stone Creek Golf Course

The course.

Public, 9 holes, bar and grill. A loyal local crowd and a bar and grill golfers come back for.

Before SmartLinks

  • Marketing ran through a local marketer.
  • The ads pulled in bargain hunters looking for the cheapest round.

What changed

We marketed the course itself. Real photos, drone video and a site that shows it off. Golfers pick where to play by how a place looks, so a wider crowd came. Alan sees new faces he has never seen before, and they spend more. In September alone, golfers paid $3,685 online.

What we did.

  1. Website and booking funnel

A new site on stonecreekfoley.com with online booking, memberships and events.

  2. Tracking

Every booking click tagged by source, so the course can see which posts, ads and pages produce rounds.

  3. Content

Drone flyovers and short videos filmed at the course. Three of the first videos reached about 80,000, 40,000 and nearly 40,000 views.

  4. Ads and Google

Google Business Profile cleanup and Meta ads aimed at weekday and twilight tee times.

  5. Time back

Online booking, payments and tracking that used to be phone calls and paper. Even 20 minutes a day saved adds up to more than 120 hours a year.

  6. Monthly review

A sit-down every month to review the numbers and plan the next promotion.
